I chose the store that was in the better part of my neighborhood and not the one closest to me but management is already being a little toxic. Seems like they like to complain about how you’re doing the job and don’t really acknowledge when you’re doing a good job. Either that or just ignore you and let you do the job.
Do stores expect you to be flexible to work every shift times? I want to update my availability but I feel like I’ll be let go because my manager seems strict.
I’ve seen him mostly address housing and current events such as sports but not really unemployment or career services. I haven’t heard back from employers for about three months now. It seems like they’re waiting for a unicorn the way they have job postings up for 2 months. How is entry level supposed to have 2 years of experience? And of course city jobs never respond.
It’s been a hard year of just doing nothing all day. I apply to jobs and have heard nothing back for the past 3 months. Just rotting away and having no routine sucks.
I can barely find entry level jobs that require 1-2 years of experience so every week I apply to like 2 or 3 jobs. Why does it seem like no one’s hiring right now?
