Best printer for Invitation printing?

First thing, yeah yeah I know it’s cheaper and easier to send them off to a print service etc. I’m a graphic designer who is comfortable with printing processes and I’d like to get into invitation design and printing for my own wedding (and maybe as a side gig later on).

I’ve heard great things about the Cannon pixma IX6820, but I’ve been drawn to the epson ecotank printers due to the easy refill process. It seems like the pixma is a bit better with colors and thicker cardstock etc.

Looking at printing on thick, textured cardstock and envelopes. Bonus if you can tell me how much ink refills go for lol.

What’s the deal with Kiwi.com for Airfare?

I’m looking at a nonstop flight to Cancun. It’s too early to buy based on my previous experience, but we’re talking a HUGE difference here.

$387 vs $940.

I will say $387 is closer to the price the flight SHOULD be based on previous years, but what’s the risk? I see that if it’s cancelled you receive a “kiwi credit”. But I’m curious….

We booked a resort in Mexico (costa mujeres) 11 months in advance for this October 2026 for approximately $400 per night.

I’m looking at October 2027 for the same room (our wedding), and it’s looking like nearly $550 per night. Is it me or this seems like a crazy price increase ?

Do you think this is just a placeholder price for the time being? I mean, I expect SOME increase year to year, but thus is about 32% higher. Is it too early?

What’s the sweet spot to book?

Thanks
