Hi all, I love my 8 year old-ish chainsaw but the darn thing hemorrhages bar oil. Is there a rubber gasket that I've lost? When I tried to look up repair parts, it looked like I could buy a whole new threaded replacement but mine looks fine, couldn't see a gasket that I could order.
Do I need to buy an entire new replacement or is there a gasket I never noticed before that I can order?

I wasn't aware that at least some, if not all 2026 GX Encores have the pump and gunk instead of a donut spare. I hit a deer with my 2016 Encore and, although still drivable, it was totaled.
So I went and bought a 2026 and at the last second I asked about the spare and they gave me the bad news.
The dealer claims that I can pay to have it retrofitted to accept a donut but after two requests for an estimate to have that work done, the stealership has ghosted me.
Does anyone know if it's really possible to have a donut retrofitted? Do I just need to call other dealers to see if any are willing to do the work?
I'd like to have a donut in case I get a flat in town but I do often drive to our farm way out in the boonies (170 miles from home) so I'm pretty sure that i also need to get a full size spare for trips down there.
No close city that'll have the right tire on hand, limited distance on donuts, etc. And getting a tow truck to cons to the boonies to haul my car to a tire shop and stranding me without a vehicle is way less than ideal.
Anywho, what advice do you have for an irritated encore lover?
Hi all, my son in law and I installed a kit house last year but I was very disappointed to find all of the inside walls were made out of cardboard and the raise able/lowerable "rope"
Was of super cheap quality.
Last weekend when I went to the farm, I noticed that the cheap rope had broken and the house had dropped to about four feet (stopped at the fence post we'd used to attach the pole).
Are there any high quality, pre assembled houses I can buy? Can I build my own out of 3/4 inch pre treated 3/4 inch plywood? Is the critical thing getting the whole sizes correct so that other birds don't nest in the house??

Hi all,
I want to get one of those devices that connects to my main and automatically shuts off the water when a leak is detected and would love some education/recommendations.
The biggest concern I have right now is having the ability to prevent it from thinking there's a leak when someone is in the shower but, on the other hand, being able to override the sensor when intentionally using large amounts of water when watering the yard.
Is there a device that would allow me to set a gallon threshold of say 50 gallons for when to shut down the supply? Plus easily turn it off/set an override that would allow me to not shut off if I'm intentionally going to use more than 50 gallons?
