I'm from the mainland but truly love the Big Island. Any trust worthy groups that I can donate to help the BI community through this tough time? I know the usual red cross blah blah but I would rather a more local trustworthy place.
My car got totaled yesterday while parked when I was at work . The driver apparently managed to flip their car over in a 25 mph speed zone on a one way street in the middle of the afternoon. I didn't get the police report yet so I don't really understand how they accomplished this.
Three months ago my work car got 11k worth of damage when it was parking during my lunch break. Driver was going too fast and hit my car instead of a biker.
I drive all the time and I see so much horrible unsafe driving. I don't understand why SFPD doesn't have reckless driving enforcement. I've seen people run stop signs in front of cops and they don't want to deal with the paperwork so they just continue on 🤬🤬
Please drivers... Drive a little slower, take full stops, use your turn signals, and yield to pedestrians. You may arrive a minute or two later but you could save a life or save someone from unnecessary stress .
Anyone have any suggestions where to watch the Mexico WC game today in the Fidi/rincon hill area? Preferably a place with food but beggars can't be choosers. Thanks!
