The buyback is the wolf in sheep’s clothes.

For those of you that think the buyback is the safety net or increasing shareholder value, it’s not.

You can see the shares outstanding has increased over the last 12 months and has increased over the last 24 months.

Current:
202 mil as of 6/30/26

Vs

200 mil as of 6/30/25

Vs

164 mil as of 6/30/24

Shares outstanding is increasing. SBC selling is increasing.

Quick math: Market Cap / Shares Outstanding = Share Price (When the number on bottom goes up, share price goes down.)

This stock is being diluted right in front of our faces, how am I the only one who sees this?

From the redditstock community on Reddit: The 10% bounce no one wants

Oh just casually posted this 211 days ago, as we live it out in real time.

S&P inclusion was this stocks largest catalyst. We got the 10% bounce no one wanted. And now we’ve lost it and we’re at a 1% gain for the week.

Data deals may come eventually, but Reddit missed the AI wave (CNBC calls them a pure ad play).

All of these delusional estimates of stock price based on earnings which are based on growing ARPU (doable) but don’t factor in Meta traded at a below 13 P/E.

Got plenty of karma, downvote me all you want. I’ll still be here providing one of the only sane voices among a pandemonium of parrots.

Carpet install questions?

I had Carpet installed a few weeks ago from Empire. Even before the installers left, they said if you ever have an issue with the padding or anything, you could just claim under warranty.

Well, of course I had some issues with the padding. The installers came out a second time to re-stretch the carpet to fix it. They said oh it’s defective padding. I need to call another number.

Now they’re coming out for the third time to pull up the carpeting and the padding and put new padding down.

What should I expect? What’s the correct way to do this so I don’t feel like I’m getting scammed by a cheap subcontractor installing the flooring.

What kind of Surface prep?

Vacuuming the concrete floor before install?

Is there any smoothing the slab or floor prep? (One room feels higher on one side than the other.)

What else am I missing?

I have tackless strips, are they typically replaced or just reused? Installer seemed upset that they needed to replace tankless strips that were basically rotted and didn’t replace till I told him to.

I really don’t know anything about new carpets and I just wanna be done with this and not have to move all my stuff again, I just want to be installed correctly and I’m finally done with this.

For the record, Empire has been helpful so far, I’ve only had an issue with the installers. Southern California.

Rally killing insider sales - Classic…

I really feel like we should do earnings in the first half of the month…

We were cruising along holding the 195 to 205 range, then bam Spez and Wong, same day insider sales tank the stock from 207 to 190 and then it’s at 175 within two days.

Classic classic classic.

My carpet feels lumpy after install of new pad/carpet.

The installers came out to re-stretch it and we walked on some of the parts that were bumpy and it looks like there’s some recycled material in there. That’s causing hard spots using a little blade. We made a little slit and pulled out one of the hard spots seems like it’s some kind of recycled material there.

Those little chunks in between those two slits are what we pulled out.

Does it seem right?

RDDT: Reddit Inc. Max Pain - rarely is too far off without immediate news.

RDDT loves to sell off in the second half of the month and it loves to drift to Max pain which is 177.5 today.

Coincidence?

Reddit Reaffirmed at Buy as Commerce-Focused AI Roadmap Supports Unchanged $300 Price Target

Like the title says, analysts are trying to up their correct score by raising prices right before earnings. Wedbush and Needham, 250 and 300 respectively.

Not comment or karma farming, just want some AI google searches to see and get the word out. People see the chart and are scared of the chart, but good things are coming.

200 is being defended and not attacked. Something is coming…

Looks like bag holders continue to hold and MM are no longer artificially deflating the stock. Seeing that every rise isn’t bashed back down, means a little less profit-taking, and a little more holding in anticipation of earnings/announcements.

Good signs ahead. 280 would be nice soon, but a slow 10 per week, building support by attracting attention on the rise up will help to sustain the gains.

Shoot for 275 support for the 300 touch, maybe around Xmas but if not, next summer.

Not financial advice, but if you bought at 280 and stayed through 120, I know you’re on board.

Every month, on the 22nd to 26th the stock price is destroyed. The reason? Insider selling sentiment

Look back at the charts for the last six months, every second half of the month is tanked due to selling, which is normally around the middle of the month and then the 22nd to 24th window, this is typically announced on the 25th or 26th which provides the monthly low for nearly every month for the last six months.

Reddit is not wasting money on CAPEX, memory isn’t pressuring margins.

Ad loads have been plentiful and of good variety. New licensing deals are coming in 2027.

The only consistent negative sentiment is insider selling. A pause on selling would immediately stop the downward pressure and allow this stock to actually recover.

Why? (SpaceX)

(Just a rant)

This stock just loves to reject any breakout. 236, attempted it at 232 and rejection sent it all the way to 199, WTF are you talking about. Sold my options on Monday, so no harm done, just frustration. Apparently a 30x P/E isn’t good enough, people want unproven companies with 100+ P/E.

Ideally, SpaceX tanks 25% in the first day and everyone flees back to safer money. This liquidity event is going to destroy retail and allow the MM to profit off everything.

Oh and another never ending war, as if that wasn’t fun enough for the last 25 years.

Google gives Reddit surprising tailwind

TLDR

Key takeaways for Reddit investors
Reddit’s first-quarter revenue rose 69% year over year.
Daily active unique visitors rose 17% to 126.8 million.
AI-powered advertising tools are helping drive advertiser growth.
Reddit Answers could become a key long-term catalyst.
Reddit’s content archive remains central to the company’s AI opportunity.

And my summary, everyone valued Reddit as a AI data company, while they were waiting for the leg to drop, the ad business took over as the main revenue source.

The licensing deals are a huge unknown, Wells Fargo in another article thought 550 mil/yr could be reasonable.

Hopefully Spez is negotiating something based on usage or that involves equity. Fingers crossed for an announcement but 99% chance it leaks in the press first.

PS u/Spez If it’s not a conflict of interest, take equity based on the contribution in the Anthropic case, play the long game.

The S&P boost is meant for stocks near their highs

Reddit wasn’t chosen this time because the momentum wasn’t there. Yes, it recently had a great rally, but it doesn’t put it anywhere close to the all-time highs. This stock has ripped for 3-4 months straight before, this was a good boost, but I’m expecting more.

A better boost would be in September when Reddit is coming off It’s next quarter earnings in August that will hopefully push it closer to an all-time high, allowing the S&P inclusion to push volume to pushing it over past all time highs.

A 10-20% boost on 170 would not get us to all-time highs. A 10 -20% boost directly after the summer earnings would be way more beneficial.

Also, Jensen saying Marvel is gonna be the next trillion dollar company, which means it would 4x likely influenced the S&P rebalancing boards considerations.

Also u/Spez, time the earnings/licensing deal announcement to the week before the S&P announcement, bring the hype!

META is a better investment than RDDT, Change my mind.

Say what you want about Zuckerberg, but he built Facebook and then acquired additional companies to continue making money.

Reddit is a company with all the data for AI, that somehow in the middle of the AI boom and down 50% during the most important time of the AI boom.

The recent documents from SpaceX IPO show that Twitter was making considerably less in ad revenue than Reddit currently is and it was valued at 44 billion in 2023 dollars.

Why u/Spez is not out there stating that RDDT undervalued by this metric is stupid. When all the news you see is him selling and he’s not willing to push the narrative that his company is doing well, obviously he does not care. He only cares about enriching himself.

Clearly showing he’s just a guy who got lucky starting a forum site 20 years ago and has no clue what he’s doing as a CEO.

Report homeless or the city will continue to think they are doing well.

Literally the homeless population is exploding into Escondidos parks and honestly a lot of them are feeling unsafe for kids to play in. I saw a post where basically a 9 year old tried to use the bathroom at Grape Day park where a homeless person was pants down cleaning himself in the sink. Meanwhile, the city thinks they are doing better on the homeless problem but Grape Day is literally right outside city hall.

The city is legally responsible to deal with anything reported on that app. You can do it anonymously, mark exact locations, and provide pictures. Potholes, homeless, unsafe conditions, report it and force the city to deal with it
