I am a B.Tech Aerospace Engineering graduate from IIT and want to pursue M.Tech/MS in CSE, AI/ML or related CS fields from a good institute.
Profile:
B.Tech: IIT , Aerospace Engineering
CGPA: 5.8/10
Category: ST
Fresher
No work experience
I want to know all the realistic routes available to me:
GATE CS vs GATE DA — which should I give?
Which IITs/IISc/IIITs/top institutes accept non-CS B.Tech students for M.Tech CSE/AI?
Which institutes allow ST candidates with ~5.8 CGPA?
What GATE score/rank should I target?
Are there any institute-specific exams/tests/interviews apart from GATE?
Are M.Tech/MS by Research programs more flexible for a non-CS background?
Are there any other realistic routes to get into a good CS program without doing another bachelor's degree?
If anyone has gone from Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil → M.Tech CSE/AI, please share your experience.
I am mainly looking for IITs/IISc/IIITs and other top institutes in India.
Please share institute + eligibility + exam + approximate GATE score/rank + admission process if you know.
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I'm about to join my first full-time job and I'm trying to build a simple but effective credit card setup from the beginning instead of collecting too many cards.
My current plan is:
ICICI Sapphiro LTF (free for me)
SBI Cashback Credit Card
Kiwi RuPay LTF
The idea is:
- ICICI Sapphiro LTF for lounge access, ICICI offers, and premium benefits.
- SBI Cashback for online shopping.
- Kiwi RuPay LTF for UPI payments.
Do you think this is a solid long-term 3-card setup for someone starting their career? Am I missing any major category (utilities, dining, travel, etc.), or is there a better combination without adding too many cards?
I'd love to hear from people who have actually used these cards. What are the pros, cons, or any regrets before I apply?
Thanks!
