So this had been a game on my to do list for a while now, but I hadn’t planned on making it so soon. But I wanted to design some game labels for flash carts so I figured I’d start working on this just to make some artwork. Turns out I was able to finish the whole game using a single scene in just one day! A very welcome change of pace after the marathon that was Game Boy Hero II.

So I finally set up my Inside Gadgets GBxCart RW and flashed Game Boy Hero II onto a cart, then popped it into my childhood DMG. What a rush, I got to play a game I made on my Game Boy! Sure, it was horrendously blurry, but who cares. Now I just need to design some labels and find someone to print them along with a manual and a box and I’ll be set. Couldn’t be happier about this!

I’ve had this machine almost 6 months and finally reached Jedi Spirit for the first time. Crazy thing is my score wasn’t anything special, nowhere near cracking my top 5. Scored 219 million, while my high is 282. I suppose I was focusing more on the modes than I was on the combos.
