How to spray paint over powder coated lamp?

This might be too difficult/not worth it, but I figured asking here was worth a shot!

I have this ikea lamp (full name is IKEA PS 2017 Table & Floor Lamp G1517F By Ola Wihlborg). I believe the material is powder coated steel.

I would love to spray paint it to be chrome/silver. From googling I’ve read that I should sand it and then use an enamel based spray paint, but a lot of what I could find is just companies advertising their own products.

Any advice?

What is the actual deal with OMPs????

Basically my SM and ASM keep telling us the reason we have to sell more OMPs is because it’s a “metric” from the higher ups to see if we can hand sell a specific book they want us to hand sell. But that’s such BS

I know it has to be some sort of lower discount from the publisher/B&N makes more profit from them than other books.

But do your store manager also just lie to you??

Senior bookseller pay?

Hiii so I was promoted to senior bookseller about a year ago, and for the past year I’ve gotten $2.50 over my city’s minimum wage.

But I just saw the memo from James daunt today saying senior booksellers are gonna go from $4 above minimum wage to $4.50 above.

Soooo senior booksellers, how much do you guys make over minimum wage??
