Why is Oshi No Ko this unpopular?
As an anime-only, Oshi No Ko is really good so far and has everything it needed to be a giant in terms of mainstream popularity. But going off YouTube videos based on it (which is my standard for its popularity), and Season 3 airing with literally no one even batting an eye, it makes me really wonder why it has amounted to nothing. All these characters are as deeply analysable as any character in JJK, CSM or AOT; there are genuine things you can like about the characters in the show, unlike a Takopi's Original Sin, let's say; but the most I've seen about the anime is episode analyses and not even to that much great detail.
I have heard heinous things about the manga ending, so I understand some skepticism about why manga readers may reduce the hype, but manga readers are usually a small percentage of the community. And AOT also had a horrible manga ending, but the popularity of AOT never decreased when later seasons were released.
I am really curious as to why this anime took such a big hit and why there is absolutely nothing people have to say about it besides "the series with the most lost potential".
