Are Youth Cups worth playing in Manager Career Mode?

I’m a few seasons into my Manager Career and I’m wondering if Youth Cups are actually worth playing. On one hand they seem good for developing young players and finding talent, but sometimes they feel kind of pointless to the overall career mode.

Do you guys actually play the Youth Cups or do you usually skip them?

And have you noticed any real difference in player growth or youth development?

FC26 Loan System Is Genuinely Driving Me Insane

I swear the loan system in FC26 Manager Mode is one of the most infuriating mechanics EA has ever made.

Every single time I try to loan out one of my youth players, this happens:

Club sends offer

I negotiate

Everything gets accepted

“Great, deal looks good”

Then 2 days later:

“The player and club could not agree on contract terms.”

Loan cancelled.

BROTHER WHAT TERMS 😭

YOU WERE THE ONES WHO SENT THE OFFER IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I’ve tried:

removing buy options

changing wage split

crucial/prospect squad role

shorter loans

delegating negotiations

DOESN’T MATTER.

The same club then comes back a week later with the EXACT SAME OFFER just to fail again.

At this point I’m not even playing football manager mode anymore. I’m playing “Administrative Contract Failure Simulator 2026.”

Meanwhile my 68-rated wonderkid is rotting in the reserves because apparently a 17-year-old left back has demands comparable to Kylian Mbappé.

EA seriously needs to fix this because I’m becoming irrationally aggressive over fictional loan negotiations. 😭

When do you promote academy players in FC 26 Career Mode? Loan them out or keep them in youth?

I’m always unsure what the best move is with youth academy players in FC 26 Career Mode.

When do you usually promote a player to the senior team?

As soon as you see high potential?

Or do you wait until their overall is higher?

And after promoting them:

Do you keep them in the squad for training and occasional games?

Or send them out on loan immediately for more playtime?

Sometimes I feel players grow faster on loan, but other times it seems better to leave them in the academy and keep playing youth tournaments.

Curious what works best for everyone and what gives the best development results 👀

Do European qualification spots and UEFA rankings change in FC26 Career Mode

I was wondering something about Career Mode in EA Sports FC 26.

Do the European qualification spots (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League) actually change over time based on UEFA coefficient rankings?

For example:

If Dutch clubs perform really well for multiple seasons

Does the Eredivisie eventually get extra Champions League spots?

Or can leagues lose spots if they perform badly?

And can you actually see the UEFA coefficient rankings change somewhere in-game, or are the rankings and qualification spots fixed from the start of the save?

Has anyone tested this yet? 👀

Title: Why is there a hidden Loan-to-Buy transfer limit in FC 26 Career Mode?

Does anyone else hate the hidden restriction on Loan-to-Buy deals in FC 26 Career Mode?

If I have €10M in my budget, the game won’t let me manually set a future buy option much higher than that (or maybe around double). But then during negotiations, the AI club can suddenly suggest something like a €50M buy option and the game lets me accept it anyway.

So basically:

I can’t freely choose a high buy option myself

But if the AI suggests the exact same amount, I’m suddenly allowed to accept it

That makes no sense to me.

I want full freedom to decide how much I spend in Career Mode, especially with Loan-to-Buy deals. If I want to take a financial risk or completely ruin my club finances, that should be my choice.

Is this intended, and is there any workaround besides delegation or PC mods?

Hi all, I have a question about buying PS5 accounts with games on them (like Spider-Man, etc.).

I’ve seen really cheap deals through sites like AllKeyShop where you basically get an account instead of a game key. My idea was: if I buy one of those accounts and then change the email and password to my own, is it actually safe?

Also, how risky is this for my main PSN account? I would be playing the game on my own main account using console sharing.

I know this is kind of a grey area, so I’m mainly curious about real experiences:

- Has anyone had an account taken back even after changing the email/password?

- Any issues with Sony (warnings, bans, etc.)?

- Is it common that multiple people are using the same account?

Would you say it’s worth it for cheap singleplayer games, or just not worth the risk?

Thanks!
