Manly cartoon fish singing a love song

About 10-15 years ago I remember seeing a short animated cartoon that ended with a large, silver fish with a manly human face, singing a love song.

His voice is deep, and only a few of the lines were in English. I want to say the other language is maybe Japanese?

My drawing doesn’t do it justice, but the fish is very… handsome?

Anyone know what animation this is from?

Only one hand flares at a time?

Anyone else get flares that only impact one side of the body at a time (hand, foot, hips, knees)? It’s common for both of my hands to hurt, but one is usually significantly worse than the other. I was diagnosed with RA 3 years ago.

I’ve heard RA is supposed to mirror on both sides so I’m curious if you guys experience this too.

Pic is my left hand at the moment lol, guess which knuckle is starting to act up?

Did I just commit seedling mass murder?

I know I’m late in the growing season, but I want to grow some wildflowers outside for my partner.

4 days ago, I pulled the grass from a neglected and empty flowerbed, tilled the soil, scattered wildflower seeds, pressed them into the dirt by walking over them (I now know that was silly), then watered.

Today I was rereading the planting instructions, which said to till a second time after scattering to ensure good seed/soil contact. Not to step on them and compact the ground, which should remain soft so the seedlings get enough oxygen.

Devastating realization, and foolishly I decided it wasn’t too late to go out and gently fluff up the soil with my hands to complete the instructions. I look down after I finish, a proud first time plant mother, to see my seedlings had already sent out their first root and started to germinate. And I had just lovingly unearthed them.

Do I leave them and accept I probably just committed mass plant murder? Should I scatter a thin layer of dirt to cover them? How bad have I messed this up?

My partner’s mother passed away a few years ago and left us the house. She loved to garden. My partner does not, but he mentioned it hurts to see the flowerbeds she used to keep empty these days. So I wanted to do this as a birthday present for him. I obviously have no experience and I know it’s late in the year to start, but I’m hoping I still have a chance to get something to grow here for him.

Rec me a song you love, and I’ll match your vibe

Send me one of your favourite songs and I’ll reply with something I think you might like! I’ll try to get to everyone that comments eventually.

Bonus points if you’re into niche genres and give me a hard time ;)
