Finished pieces and a slow WIP

1 - a custom PBN of my mentor when she met her late husband for the first time, from Custom Steward on Amazon.

2 - my first Davincified painting. The paints were decent, but the conversion and colors were a mess - stray lines everywhere and the colors were weird, even though this was a stock pbn, not a custom. There was one egregiously red paint, after i was done i went over it with metallic gold and i liked it better.

3 - custom LOTR kit from Custom Steward on Amazon

4 - still working on this Temu kit, I have to fight with the paints constantly but I also can’t find this image anywhere to get a better quality custom

PSA: “opaque” means you cannot see through it. “Translucent” means you can.

If the paint is thin and you can see the numbers and lines through it, then it’s translucent. You WANT paint to be opaque, that means it covers everything up on the first go.

Advice on how to decorate my office around this couch?

I just got my first office and I have the summer to move in. I inherited the couch and it’s super comfy, but Very Bold. I want the office to work around it but not cartoonishly. I have a whiteboard that will go on the wall next to my desk, and I’m moving one of the sound panels to directly behind the piano bench. I have more acoustic panels for the wall above the couch. I also need to add a small clothing rack for gowns and academic regalia, and I’ll be bringing some paintings from home to put above the railing. Any other advice?
