Hi. This is the color of my 8 month olds stool. EBF but has combo feed with breastmilk and formula when I’m away at work. Could the darkness come from the iron in formula? He’s acting fine, but I don’t like the color

Struggling with what to do for early morning wake ups/the first morning nap. Today my baby woke up
at 4:40am but was fussing on and off until I got him at 6. I was doing the pop ins. It seems counter productive to wait since when they wake up they will be ready for a nap way sooner than you’d like, or, they will try to fall asleep during the morning feed. Should I give him a snack at this 4/5 am mark or should I stick with the routine. I understand consistency is key, but it is messing up the rest of the days routine. Just searching for some advice.
We started sleep training 3 days ago, and I’m so proud of him making it that long through the night! Any suggestions or similar stories? Should I hold him out for a normal morning nap time…. Have an earlier nap bc of earlier wake up?
Seems like some websites suggest not to start awake time until you get them out of the crib. Thank you!!!

I have a cat napper and have been doing 2 hr wake windows. He’s 6 months old and always seems tired at the 2 hr mark. We have struggles at night but sometimes he has very long stretches.
