OIS phone on bobo bm 14 pro plus

Hi, I've bobo bm 14 pro plus vibration damping installed on my scrambler 400x, and am wondering if I should mount my OIS enabled phone on it, basically s25, I've heard the vibration breaks the OIS of phone. Feedback is appreciated :)

Finally upgraded to 25+

Still setting up the phone, UI so smooth and feels so fast upgrading from snapdragon 750g and ton of features

I want to customise it with good lock, how to do it keeping everything clean and minimal and not funky

Long Trips AMA - Scrambler 400x

Hi guys, how many long trips have you done till now? Drop your experiences too. Mine’s around 8k kms so far (bought the bike in Sept ’25).

Did my first proper long trip to Rajasthan in March — Chandigarh → Jaipur → Udaipur. Total ~900 kms one side and honestly, one of the best experiences.

This post is mainly for people planning their first long ride — what helped, what went wrong, and how not to get completely exhausted. AMA on gear/products too.

Things that helped a LOT

* C30 intercom

* Viaterra Claw Mini 48L

* Magnetic tank bag

* Knee + elbow guards

* Puncture kit

* Protein bars

* Extra spectacles

* Freewill 💀

Jaipur: 3 days

Udaipur: 3 days

Rest was riding days

We always started around 5 AM — highly recommended. Less traffic, cooler weather, smoother ride. Covered ~500 kms in around 12 hrs with breaks every 100 kms minimum. Hydration is non-negotiable.

And yes… occasional 150 kmph pulls for 5 mins = pure adrenaline 😆

Biggest learning

If you’re new to touring, ride buddies are a must. Went with a friend and the intercom made the ride way less tiring.

C30 range was surprisingly good:

* ~1 km on open empty roads

* ~300-400m in traffic

Connection gets unstable at higher speeds though.

There will be moments where both of you are just like:

“Bhai hotel kab aayega?” 😂

Food & energy

Keep breakfast light but filling. We mostly had simple dal, roti, dahi — keeps you cool and not sleepy. Filled water bottles at every fuel stop and kept protein bars for quick energy.

Hotel tip

Never trust overall ratings blindly. Check the **latest reviews** on Google. One hotel room we booked was an absolute mess. Had to argue and switch rooms immediately.

Riding experience

Some highway stretches were insanely scenic, some painfully boring. March weather was elite though — even got rain while exploring Jaipur.

Wind blast on open highways was CRAZY.

Tank bag ended up being one of the most useful things:

* 1L water bottle

* Protein bars

* Charger + cable

* Puncture kit

Everything instantly accessible.

Exploring cities

On exploration days we parked bikes at hotels and used cabs/autos instead. Helped us relax physically before the next ride.

Also:

* chain cleaned + lubed before trip

* phone connected to charger whole ride

* good battery phone is a must for touring/photos/navigation

Long rides genuinely hit different. Exhausting, uncomfortable at times, but worth every km.
