Library after cancelling Apple Music

I really wish I never signed up for Apple Music.

So I deleted all the songs that I downloaded through Apple Music.

However now on my phone I have two libraries, one is a complete one but can only access all of it if you are connected to cellular or wifi. used to it would just give you the option to download directly. But I've downloaded all the ones it gave me an option for. I've signed in and out, deleted the app, updated cloud library but the other library(the one that doesn't have a connection)

Any hacks for getting them to download? yes I connected it manually with a cord.

Why are there missing episodes on on-demand tv shows?

Anybody else having this issue? I'll watching a show and notice that I missed footage so I go back and look at the episode list and one show had 3 episodes missing out of 10. like what am I paying $60 a month for?

Healthy paws- 9 year old dog. premium up 25% a month coverage down 20%.

So my dog is really healthy for a 9 year old German Shepherd. I've only had two instances where I have had to file a claim during his lifetime- one was tumor removal and the other was snake bite. both of which were more than 3 years ago.

I've had him with healthy paws since 2017, when I got him as a puppy. My premium is jumping 25% a month and 20% less in coverage. 90% reimbursement to 70% reimbursement after deductible is met. That was the whole reason why I picked this policy was no limits cap and 90% reimbursement and it was affordable. I bet no limits cap will be the next to go. They must be hemorrhaging claims or just greedy. If they are hemorrhaging claims bad enough they could cut the book they currently have(meaning our policies) or cut the full program eventually.

I work in insurance, have my whole life. I know that every type of insurance is going up, and has been for many years. Mostly due to the fact that everything is so much more expensive with inflation and tariffs. The more those go up, the more everything goes up that costs to cover a claim. And thats what a lot of people don't realize about insurance, even if you have a great loss history, great credit, etc your premium could still go up at renewal not because of greed but because the cost to cover any claim goes up. It's the law of large numbers. Gotta charge enough per person to be able to cover all the claims and still be profitable so that the company can continue to cover these claims in the future. Yes you will get a lower rate if you have no loses than someone who has a lot of losses, but still could have increases each year. I don't care if my homeowners or car insurance goes up because I know the company I have them with will payout in claims and I can afford it because I live below my means and have no debt(except my mortgage). And after an event, thats when that phrase "you get what you paid for" really comes into play.

I don't want to say it is for sure greed because everyone is so quick to say that about insurance companies in general(human health care insurance carriers is by far greed tho). Every year for the last few years it's been double digit increases. which I know my dog is getting older and more likely to get sick in the next few years, so I do expect some increases every year anyway because he is more likely to need it soon. However, his premium is getting to closer to where my health insurance premiums are, and I know that human health care costs are much higher than animals overall industry wise. Technically I already pay all his medical bills without any financial strain to me. Because I felt like the last time I used it they barely covered anything on his bill(2022). The first time I used it they covered a lot more(2020). So really it's only used as a financial safety net if needed.

I'm glad I got it when I did because I did need it when I wasn't financially as stable as I am now. Technically I could probably cancel it now as I do have a lot in an emergency fund, but I'm going to do proper risk management planning for now and keep it until I get some big expense projects done that I've been saving for(not using debt).

My premium is still low compared to what I've seen on here but still. I don't mind increases but when it's 25% and cutting 20% in reimbursement, I don't like that. It just screams not underwriting the risk properly. People will say just put that premium in a HYS account. But it also comes with other features not offered by a HYSA. Which my money is already in HYS anyway.

I'm really just ranting, it was a fantastic policy when I first got it for him. But it's really gone down hill since.
