We’re a U.S.-based family considering spending one semester in Egypt with our two kids, who would be in 4th and 2nd grade. We’re primarily looking at Cairo/New Cairo but are open to other areas.
Our main goal is to give the kids a chance to experience Egypt, spend time with family, and experience the culture, then return to the U.S. afterward.
For anyone who has done something similar:
Was it a good experience for your kids?
Would you recommend fall or spring?

What type of school did you use, and was it difficult to find one accepting students for only one semester?
How was the transition back to U.S. school?

I only have one day in Madinah. Is Taiba Shopping Center the best place to buy Al Aseel, Daffah, and quality abayas?
Are the prices similar to the official stores/websites, or are they overpriced because it’s close to the Haram?
If there’s a better place, please let me know.

I plan to do Umra and I will arrive in saudi in Thursday and stay to Tuesday. Is it better to start with medina in Thursday and then move to mekka in Saturday for umra. Is Saturday - Tuesday are days for umra than a weekend

I opened a Chase Business Complete Checking account with the $750 bonus offer that requires a $20,000 new money deposit.

I have the funds in a Fidelity account. If I link Fidelity as an external account in Chase and initiate the transfer from the Chase app (pulling the funds from Fidelity into Chase), will that count as a qualifying new money deposit for the bonus?

Has anyone successfully received the bonus using a Chase-initiated ACH transfer from Fidelity?

Edit: I called chase and told them i will do EFT transfer from fidelity and chase told me EFT is not qualified, only ACH. I called fidelity and fidelity confirmed that it is called EFT on fidelity app but it will be processed as ACH.

I'm applying for a Saudi eVisa for Umrah using an Egyptian passport and a valid U.S. Green Card.

The application accepted my Egyptian passport details, but the nationality dropdown does not include Egypt and the review page shows **"Country of Nationality: United States."**

Has anyone with an Egyptian passport and U.S. Green Card experienced this? Did you proceed and receive the visa without issues?
