Hey ho, hunting for a very specific idea of mine once more. The Name's Zen by the way!

This RP is only open to those 18+.

This is set in my own fantasy world, set in a period akin to a pre-industrial revolution world. Where magitech is becoming less of a rarity amongst a majority magic-capable populous. I'd argue my world isn't quite high fantasy as humanity and it's demographics make a good portion of it's population (haven't written out as much for other races such as elves, orcs, dwarves and like). I'll spill all the details later on. But here's the main genre list I'd like to highlight.

- Slowburn, the character I have in mind has quite the guard up.
- Adventure, a world I so lovingly created (and also tend to neglect, but hey! This RP gives me an excuse to expand more on it)
-Action, fair bit of brawling involved. Mostly monsters at a glance but who knows.
- Mystery, both from my character and the path he walks.
- Terror, I'M NEW TO WRITING THIS. But there's an element of being under threat of something you can't directly confront. So it's probably good to mention it.

I'll be playing a wandering ronin, who's defining character trait, beyond the fact he's an east-asian equivalent guy in a place in the world he's rarity in, the euro-equivalent greatsword bound tightly to his back. Being very cagey on the details for the sole reason there's a helluva lot to divulge. So for the time being I'll set out what I'm looking for + some necessary details.

Timezones wise, I'm european but I generally care very little about this. I'm down to RP wherever you're at. I love to discuss things at length OOC, plotlines, character details, possible setups and pitfalls. More open you are to this the better ^^. (Also ADORE sharing playlists and the like, getting more into pinterest aesthetics recently as well.)

I'm a fairly experienced writer with coming to a decade of experience. Looking to write at a 2 paragraph minimum. I tend to mirror who I'm writing with but when the spark of creativity hits I often ramble far beyond the means I think I'm capable of.

Disclaimer, you don't have to have watched the show ace of the diamond or even have much prequisite knowledge of baseball! I'm willing to get ya up to speed and setup in that regard.

Misosazai Highschool, Hokkaido's finest. A long standing private school that has its roots as far back as the 1800's. It's become one of Japan's finest school's for raising the next generation of students. Amongst its usual population of the academically excellent or financially superfluous. The school actively hands out room and board for students under 'sports scholarships'. The most prestigious of their offerings being their Baseball club. A long standing, former national champion during the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. Yet throughout the 2010's has had a drought in success. Having only made one trip to Hanshin Koshien stadium over the last 4 years. It's now 2025, 2 years since their last appearance during the Summer Nationals. 20 years since they last raised the championship banner in their own hands.

This is where we come in, hot blooded 1st years looking to make a their Koshien debut. 2nd years now tenured and quickly maturing as players. And 3rd years putting it all on the line as their dream. I'm looking to assemble a small group of 4-8 players to play as this school's baseball team. Experiencing the highs and lows attempting to become national champions!

I'd like to keep a semi-literate bottom line, though I often write above and beyond this standard. I think it's beneficial for pacing if we can focus on quality>quantity. I'll be playing one character of my own + a plethora of NPC's and the main enemy teams we'll be coming across throughout the story. Planning to run this on discord. Yello yello, have a fairly ambitious idea in mind for a small group RP idea that's been simmering in my mind for some time. I'm a long time Ace of the Diamond enjoyer and in the spirit of the show being kicked alive again. I wanted to shoot out an idea I've held for a long time.

I loveee shows such as Horimiya, Toradora etc and would like to have characters that are a bit more fleshed out. Due to the scale of a team everyone would be running at least some side characters alongside their MC (I'll straight up be GMing enemy teams and key players).

I have an entire Hokkaido based school with its own lore and background setup, alongside key prefectural players across the country. If you can't tell already the RP will be setup around the idea of 'conquering' koshien and being crowned National Highschool Baseball Champions.

This RP will happen on discord!! I'd prefer if people were literate+ capable but given the volume of things that we'd have to work on I'm good with a Semi-Literate floor. Some things are up in the air whether I'm running this freeplay or using an existing TTRPG System (yes there is one, albeit some tweaking is required).

Oh yeah, my MC is a fastball pitcher so I will steal that away from the pool of archetypes :3.

I'll be happy to disclose background details before moving to discord! Excited to hear from y'all. Looking for a maximum size of 6-8 people depending on who drops by.
