Not happy with my second HA nose filler appointment – has anyone been in a similar situation?
I went back to my cosmetic doctor for a second appointment today.
The first time, I was really happy with the result. However, I accidentally touched my nose a bit out of reflex afterward (which I definitely didn't do this time), and over time the tip seemed to settle in a way that made it look more curved than I wanted.
So I went back today (7 months laters) assuming he would simply make a small adjustment by adding a tiny amount of hyaluronic acid to lift the tip slightly. Instead, he basically recreated the exact same result I had by touching my tip several months ago.
Unfortunately, he's leaving on vacation for several weeks, so I can't go back to see him anytime soon.
My doctor seemed genuinely happy with the result and was saying it looked really good immediately after. I honestly think I was a bit out of it because I'm terrible with needles. I'll see how it looks once everything settles. He used a cannula, by the way
I did ask whether it would be possible to lift the tip a bit more, but he told me he couldn't do that anymore.
So now I'm left with a result I'm honestly not very happy with, pretty much the opposite of what I was hoping for.
I've read that hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve some of the filler if needed.
I've already booked an appointment with another cosmetic doctor in four days to get a second opinion.
I know this might sound picky or overly critical, but I'd rather be cautious. I don't want to pay for a result that's going to make me think about my nose every single day.
Has anyone here been through something similar? What did you end up doing?
