Scared my 18m old

So I took the day off of work today to get my hair done while my son was at daycare. It’s a pretty big change-bangs and highlights. When I went to pick up my son, he looked confused and then started crying and hugging his teacher :( my heart shattered. Usually he runs to me and hugs me and wants me to pick him up so to see him scared and not want to come to me was heartbreaking. I didn’t even think that he may not recognize me or feel overwhelmed by the change.
I guess I just needed to share. He’s ok now, back to normal playing and giving hugs, but I feel like a lousy mom for springing that on him.

Analyze Me 🫪

I know I need to get in there and organize better, but I see these posts all the time and am curious about my fridge perception 😅

Am I doomed? I am applying for SLECP-O, and my education office only administers the AFOQT once a month. There’s a tight deadline to submit packages so my only option is to take it in 4 days. I have a study guide book from 2024, and purchased the AFOQT App and have been using both to study since yesterday. I’ve been focusing on the Arithmetic/Mathematics sections since the verbal portion is my strong point. I haven’t taken a college level math course in 10 years, so the concepts aren’t coming back as quick as I’d hoped, and I’m getting a little concerned. I’ve been doing timed practice tests and score between 65-70%, struggling more on the probability and interest questions.
Is there anything I can do to better prepare myself in such a short amount of time? Feeling a bit overwhelmed. I’m using the small amount of free time I have between work and having a toddler studying….
