Any clubs having elections soon or upcoming?

Bit left field but I really want to join a club executive team since im about to graduate soon and see people involved with multiple clubs while I was unable to run for any positions, mostly because I was confused of how to access/locate any clubs. Obviously, I would first see if the club interests me, but if someone can direct me to open positions, I would like to give it a try. Thank you.

ualberta rural?

An advisor told me to consider applying through the rural stream as I am eligible for it, but i'm not sure if it's what I want. I know my chances will increase significantly, but I have no interest in living in rural areas again. Do all students in the rural stream have to practise/match into rural areas? I feel like my application would just waste their resources if my goal is to practise in the city. Thoughts?

Place to find Official GPA?

On the UofA website GPA calculator, it says that numbers are not official, so where do we acquire our official gpa's? Is it received only when we complete our degree? Do graduate schools calculate our gpa's themsleves, recieave them in whole, or rely on us to accurately report it? Thank you in advance, this topic confuses me.

Parents control everything about my life

Basically the title. I'm currently about to graduate university, and for some reason I feel like everyday my parents are becoming stricter with me and more leniant with my brother. He comes home at 10-11pm every single day, but I can only hangout with my friends once or twice a month for an hour or so before they start blowing up my phone. I did everything they wanted, I'm pursuing medical school, I'm engaged to a random older doctor guy I've never met in my life who i'm supposed to get married to next year, do all the housework, practically raised my two younger siblings etc. Meanwhile my brother is a quite literal bum who barely passed highschool and is at risk to get kicked out of uni, has no job, and plays videogames all day, and will start fistfights with my younger siblings. Everytime I bring up this hypocrisy, they're always like "Well you're a girl, and he's a guy", and if i don't want to listen to them, I can go and "Do my own thing" (Aka leave and get disowned.) I'm scared of confronting them because they won't hesitate to put thier hands on me, so it's just a lose-lose situation. What am I literally supposed to do in this situation. My last job was temporary and ended, and I'm having alot of difficulties finding a new job that can support me. Plus I still need my parents support (In terms of money) for my future studies. My cousin told me to look on the bright side that atleast their supporting me doing higher studies when alot of parents don't allow that, or that they'll help me and my new "spouse" move into our own space, but I know a case first hand where the girl is 33 and her parents and husband will be on her ass about not staying out late, aka after 8pm. Oh, this is also before I tell them sometime in the future that I don't want kids before 30. Great.

How does finishing up your degree in Spring semester work?

I'm thinking of easing my courseload and taking an extra spring semester in my fourth year (So either one class or two), but does that mean I'll still be able to graduate in the spring? Thanks in advance!

how to do this retake studying?

I took my first mcat in Jan and did not like my score so i'm rescheduling for July. First time I did'nt use Uworld, and was told to def buy it this time. Is one month of practise enough? I was gonna reserve June for just Uworld practise questions and doing the last three FL's and some AAMC CARS. Could'nt find much stuff on how to study for a retake but I think spamming practise questions might be the move.
