These are the Results of my own Speedpaint challenge: Painting ~200 Minis in under 10 hours.

I ended up taking 15 Hours in the end, with an extra 5ish hours spent doing minor cleanup, which wasn't necessary but fun.

In case anyone wants to try this i'll leave some tips here:

I almost exclusively used the ArmyPainter speedpaint starter pack with some white paint for eyes and symbols, and some metallics for drybrushing.

Paint handles: I used simple Carboard or wood pieces with two long strips of duct tape

Priming: You don't need to prime perfectly, as long as the upwards-facing surfaces are covered, it is enough

Painting:

• Use as few colours as possible per Miniature, start with the bright colours and finish with the darkest colours (this way you can be super sloppy with the bright colours).
• Speedpaints/Contrast paints are way faster than normal paints. I watched some tutorials beforehand, but the basic idea is to always have a lot of paint on your brush
• I painted all miniatures of one kind at the same time (so all Gondor Spearmen, for example, or all Gondor cavalry + leaders). By having them all in a row on the handle, you can repeat the same stroke on each before moving to a new surface. Turning the Handle costs a lot of time, so it's better to do one colour on one side of all the minis before switching to do the same colour on the other side of all the minis.
• Do not use any kind of dark wash on the faces or other bright colours, speedpaints already give you a nice depth, and an extra wash makes these colours too dark.
• Drybrushing Gold and Silver metallics, where appropriate, makes speedpaint metallics look much nicer
• Painting Symbols on banners and shields is worth it, but you'll probably have to do this with normal paint after doing the foundation with speed paints. Banners can be painted relatively quickly by using the side of your brush instead of the tip.
