CYP2D6 Ultra-Rapid Metabolizer - Med Issues

My GeneSight test from a while back says “cyp2d6 \*1/\*2a (duplication) ultrarapid metabolizer cyp2d6\*1 allele enzyme activity: normal cyp2d6\*2a allele enzyme activity: increased

Does anyone else have this result and have found a medication regimen that works well for them? Even Dyanavel XR 20mg isn’t lasting me even half the day before crashing hard. Generic adderall XR 40mg also didn’t do much nor did generic Vyvanse 50mg with a 15mg Adderall booster. I’m feeling so defeated. It helps so much when it actually is still in my system at a therapeutic level. I have never had adverse side effects physically either.

Seeds/curds with alimentum?

Is it normal to have lots of white seeds like curds almost on alimetnum rtf? She’s been very constipated and a the last couple times a very formed piece comes out followed by mucusy poop with lots of white seeds in it. She’s had been on alimentum RTF for about a month and the only thing that changed was adding Pepcid since she was having persistent reflux issues still.

Trial of generic hypoallergenic

I’m trialing my baby on the parents choice generic hypoallergenic instead of alimentum rtf. Does this look like a possible reaction or is this normal for the change? She’s also on gelmix.

PCOS + ADHD

Looking for experiences/advice from others with PCOS + ADHD 🫶

TL;DR: 9 weeks postpartum with PCOS and ADHD, trying to figure out the best option for regulating/protecting my cycle without needing birth control for pregnancy prevention. Curious how hormones may affect Vyvanse effectiveness and would love experiences with combo pills, Nuvaring, hormonal IUDs, etc.

I’m 9 weeks postpartum and trying to figure out the best option for hormone/cycle management.

A little background:
• I have PCOS and have never had regular periods on my own
• Before pregnancy, I usually needed birth control or Provera to induce a period after going too long without one
• I do NOT need pregnancy prevention (I have a wife)
• Main concern is protecting my uterine lining from building up too much from not cycling regularly

Other factors:
• I take Vyvanse for ADHD and worry hormone fluctuations affect how well it works
• I also take Lexapro + Tirzepatide
• I don’t really struggle with acne or androgen symptoms

My OB suggested Ashlyna, but I’m unsure if that’s the best fit for me personally.

Would love to hear:
• what has worked for you
• if anyone noticed ADHD meds working differently on/off hormones
• experiences with Ashlyna, Provera, hormonal IUDs, etc.
• anything that helped you feel more hormonally stable overall

CMPA reaction?

My son had CMPA and still at 2.5yrs is sensitive to dairy. I had my daughter in late March and was breastfeeding. When she got home from the hospital she had a bloody diaper rash around her anus like a raw ring that never would go away no matter what I tried. She also progressively got more and more fussy and gassy. She would start to pull away from bottles crying and and would cry after feeds. She also had really bad baby acne which I know can be normal too. At around 3-4w I decided to trial Alimentum RTF since I was seeing warning signs in her. Her diaper rash improved within days and she was much less fussy. She still spits up tho even hours after feeding and gets hiccups. Her pediatrician on Monday wanted me to trial Enfamil AR for her reflux cause from what I told her she didn’t have obvious signs of CMPA and this would be a good indicator. It’s day 3 of the trial and she’s been very uncomfortable pulling her legs up and fussy again. She also is sounding very congested and snorty. Would you count this as a reaction?
