Taking another shot here i think I've thinned the paint pretty well so far. I was curious about how I could make the high points on the fur shine more to create some highlighting.
As the title says im new to the hobby and I'm really enjoying it. I was hoping to get a baseline of things to learn or improve on to become better and make the mini's pop. Here are the first 5 minis that I've painted.
This was my 5th miniature. Really liking the hobby and want to get better. Hoping to find some baseline i should learn or improve on.
New Dad here, my LO is 5 months. Here recently he has been crying everytime I put him down for a nap. Im letting him stay awake for his whole wake window. Today I let him cry for about 10 minutes. He was still crying red face and tears on his cheeks. He was still upset but I gave him a bottle and he went to sleep. I tried feeding him first to get him to sleep but he wasn't having it until after i let him cry for 10 minutes. When he was crying there was only about a 1-2 second pause between cries. I'm not entirely sure if this is a protest cry or a distress cry. I don't want him to feel abandoned but I also need him to get his naps in.
I didn't apply a wash because there wasn't a lot of crevices and I didn't want to dirty up the miniature
