I work at Walmart Online Grocery Pickup (OPD), and we were just informed that starting next month on July 22nd, our store will be doing away with delivery orders. From what we were told, Spark drivers will now handle all delivery orders, including picking and fulfilling them. This means we will have significantly fewer orders overall, since we will only be handling pickup orders and GMD (general merchandise delivery) orders.
My question is: has anyone else had this change happen at their store yet? If so, how has it affected full-time OPD associates where you work?
