As someone who has a degree in electrical engineering, ngayon ko lang ito nalaman xD. Susubukan kong ipaliwanag ito in layman's terms:

  1. May temporary fault sa linya

  3. I che-check ng device kung may fault pa ba

  4. Kung wala ng fault, i re-restore nya ang daloy ng kuryente after a few milliseconds (ito yung na e-experience na mini brownouts for only a few seconds)

So basically, the everyday objects that we see (e.g. buildings, trees, animals, humans) dont have colors as their inherent property. Unlike mass, density, or electrical conductivity, an object can be seen as more than one color depending on the viewer (good example nito ay ang 2015 Viral Dress: Gold and White vs Black and Blue ). In a physical sense, objects can only absorb, reflect, or emit visible light in different wavelengths.

Colors are just our brain's interpretation of the visible light within the electromagnetic spectrum. Considering the range of the visible light is only a tiny fraction of the whole electromagnetic spectrum (which spans theoretically from zero to infinity), it is also fair to say that the number of color combinations are infinite, but other colors may not be visible on the naked eye.

Having said that, the ability of perceiving colors varies according to the condition of the cone cells of our eyes - the one responsible for detecting different ranges of wavelengths roughly associated with red, green, and blue light. So this is why colorblind people exist and why some animals can see colors that humans cannot (and vice versa).

Over the course of human civilization, we effectively gave meaning to colors for survival, for reproduction, and for living life to the fullest.

TL;DR: Colors exist due to the powerful capability of our brain to interpret different wavelengths of visible light.

In May 2000, the ILOVEYOU worm spread across the world and became one of the most damaging cyberattacks ever.

It was created by Onel de Guzman, a 23-year-old student at AMA Computer College in the Philippines. Reports say he made it as part of a rejected thesis about getting free internet access.

The virus was sent as an email attachment called “LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.vbs” with the subject line “ILOVEYOU.” It looked harmless, but once opened, it could damage files, copy itself, and send itself to other people in the victim’s contact list.

It spread extremely fast, infecting millions of Windows computers within days, including systems used by big companies and government offices. The damage was estimated at $15 billion to $20 billion, mostly from cleanup and lost data.

De Guzman was never formally prosecuted because we did not yet have a law that clearly punished this kind of cybercrime. That loophole helped push the Philippines to pass the E-Commerce Act of 2000 (RA 8792) later that year.

The ILOVEYOU virus is now remembered as a major warning sign for the digital age. De Guzman later said he wanted free internet access, not worldwide damage, but the chaos had already gone global.
