I had a lot of fun painting the Warflock spearhead. I used a combination of Army Painter speed paints and Citadel acrylics to land on the final results. I definitely could have pushed myself further in terms of painting ability, but am happy overall with the results and would love to see a larger scale army hit the table with the same colour scheme.

I think my next additions will be a LoC and some blue horrors, and potentially a second box for more of both disc variants and tzaangors to reinforce what I have thus far.

Target upload received; firing solution acquired.

Just gotta sort out some nice snow basing and we’re well on the way to my first 2k (the rest of which isn’t pictured).

Give it to me straight

Complete novice so I am unsure about if this is worth stressing over? I don’t get the impression the racket is gonna explode (but I am also looking for an excuse to buy a new one…).

Next steps?

Hi all,

Relatively new to the great game but I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve been playing for about 6-8 months now and tend to get out onto hard and grass courts up to 3 times per week with some mates. I’m at the point now where I can pretty comfortably rally 15+ shots with the guys I play with, my serve is still shocking but I’m becoming more consistent, and generally feel a lot more fit given how much I’ve been playing. We tend not to play singles/doubles much, just bash for a few hours and if the rally gets going we play the point. If it matters I’m 32m.

I’m seeking some opinions about what a good next step would be for improving my game - general macro-knowledge, shot prep, awareness, how/when to pull the trigger, point construction, etc. A bit worried that because I’ve been playing without coaching I’ve formed bad habits?

Is it now as simple as join a club, get some lessons, and play socially before jumping into penance or club leagues? What do you think?

Cheers!

Hi all,

I’m an Australian due to travel to Vietnam later in the year and I’m hoping to get in a good hike or two. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about hiking in the region, and further, if anyone can recommend guided tours for hiking that would be awesome. I’ll be staying in Ho Chi Min for the duration of my stay.

I’m a hiker of intermediate skill and I’m not shy about elevation. I’m also more than happy to travel several hours out from the city. The minimal research I have done has lead me to a few mountains and a lovely looking national park, but your first-hand experiences would be valuable, too.

Hi there,

I'm an Australian due to travel to Vietnam later this year - wondering if anyone could please recommend some nice hiking near the city, or perhaps guided tours for hikes?

I have read that Ba Den mountain is a decent trek, and would love to hear your thoughts about good hikes in the area. I am relatively experienced and not too frightened of elevation.

Thank you!
