bath ritual remains and leftovers

what are you guys doing with the post-witch bath remains? I loooove them when I’m feeling overwhelmed and insecure, it does what they’re supposed to do, cleanse, rejuvenate etc.
I like to use fresh rose petals, salts, light candles and incense, crystals, all the things! My struggle point is what to do with the “leftovers” when the bath is over, if I put roses in salted water and return them outside is that considered “salting the earth”? I’ve heard that’s a big no-no, I’ve heard of people using the leftover rose petals for a number of things but the one time I tried to preserve them they left a rotting smell to them /: I’m just confused on what you all do! Thank you!

just ended it, but i feel so bad

Me and my ex-boyfriend had been having so problems. I was a miserable person to be around, snappish, unhappy. He was neglectful in a lot of ways, working too much, eventually it became like having a roommate that didn’t clean up after themselves when it used to not be that way. Deep in my heart I know this is the right thing to do. We aren’t meeting each other’s needs. I reject physical touch because withholding myself is in a sense, the only way i felt like i had control in the relationship. The fact of the matter is we’ve both done damage. I thought we were going to get married. But sh*t happens and i need time to grow. I feel so lost and so sad because I never would have seen this coming. We’ve lost all spark with each other and within ourselves. Maybe after he moves out and gets his life together we can be civil. I am fighting against the urge to say “let’s just keep trying to work at it” but his boxes are packed. I am looking to move. This is what’s for the better but the initial break up feeling knowing it’s over is ripping me apart.
