43F. I’ve had a couple of men decide not to move forward with the first day due to the fact that I didn’t want to give my phone number before meeting. Most recent was this morning… I was planning on a coffee first date after a few messages. He had asked for my number a few days ago, and I said I prefer to exchange numbers after we meet. When I reached out this morning to see if we were still meeting up… he said, “Sorry, I don’t do the no numbers thing”.
I know this means they weren’t the right person to me and I’m not planning on changing my boundary…but I can be flexible and am open to others’ perspectives. I feel like there’s no difference between texting and messaging on the app but I’ve gotten the sense that a lot of men are in a bit of a hurry to move to texting. Just curious what thought are on this!
Edit: I have a Google number and thought about giving that out… but I feel that would be awkward later when I tell them it’s not my real number. I thought it cleaner to just meet in person before giving out any number.
Update: I appreciate everyone’s response! Including those who had a different opinion regarding exchanging phone numbers. Maybe giving out the Google number is a compromise I can do.
My ring has been working fine, and randomly last night my sleep data did not record and there’s no readiness score for the day. After contacting Finn, the response was there’s an issue with your Ring and we can send a replacement.
What is the issue? I don’t want to start all over with a new used ring, as I heard they send refurbished rings.
Has anyone had a similar issue? I would like to see what exactly is wrong with my ring if anything. Thank you!
