I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community and I go by a different name to that on my birth certificate. Do employers ask you for your passport when they hire you, and what name should I put on my CVs/applications etc.?
For context I "pass" incredibly well as the gender I identify as, to the point where I've been turned away from my birth gender bathrooms.
