Cognizant Digital Nurture 5.0 – Extra Technical Interview Round on Aug 21, 2026. Anyone else received this?

Hi everyone,

I received an update from my college T&P cell today regarding Cognizant Digital Nurture (DN) 5.0 – 2027 campus hiring.

The message says that some candidates have been shortlisted for another round of virtual technical interviews on August 21, 2026, conducted through Superset and recorded.

This seems like an additional technical interview round, and I wanted to know:

- Has anyone else received this update?

- Is this round being conducted for candidates who already cleared the previous technical/MCQ assessment?

- What can we expect in this interview?

- Will it mainly focus on Java, SQL, Angular, and the DN 5.0 syllabus, or can they ask about projects, CS fundamentals, etc.?

- Has anyone from a previous DN batch experienced a similar additional technical round?

- Does this round affect the final selection/offer?

If anyone has received the same update or has information about this round, please share your experience. It would be really helpful for those preparing for the interview.

Thanks!

Cognizant Digital Nurture 5.0 interview went mid — do I still have a chance?

I recently attended my Cognizant Digital Nurture 5.0 (Java FSE) interview, and I'm honestly not sure how to judge my performance.

Here's how it went:

I explained my projects quite well. The interviewer seemed satisfied with the explanation and asked follow-up questions, which I was able to answer.

I was then given a Java coding question and asked to solve it without using built-in functions.

I understood the approach and explained the logic to the interviewer, but I couldn't actually complete the code.

I was asked several Core Java questions. I answered some of them correctly, but honestly, my performance there was pretty average. I struggled with a few follow-up questions.

I was also asked about Spring Boot, and I was able to answer those questions reasonably well.

Overall, I wouldn't say the interview was a disaster, but it definitely wasn't a great interview either.

For those who have already gone through Cognizant Digital Nurture 5.0, especially the recent 2026 interviews:

Do you think I still have a realistic chance of getting shortlisted/selected?

How heavily does Cognizant weigh the coding question compared to project knowledge, Core Java, Spring Boot, communication, etc.?

Should I still keep some hope and wait for the result, or would it be better to mentally move on and focus entirely on other opportunities?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who have had a similar interview experience and later got selected/rejected.

Thanks!
