How long should your veil be?

If the dress already has a long train behind, could i order a smaller veil that arrive to my lower back for example? Are there any rules on this? I am ordering everything online to stay on budget but it’s harder without some professional advice ! Also, anything else I should think of other than shoes and jewellery to accessorize?
Many thanks!

How do you store a large wedding dress with a long train at home for 2 months?

Hi brides! I just received my wedding dress that I ordered online and I’m absolutely in love with it, but now I’m panicking about storage. It’s a big dress with a long train and I have no idea how to keep it safe for the next 2 months. I have a small apartment and not much storage room left, my racks aren’t high enough to store vertically.

Also how do you prevent dust, wrinkles and dirt on the train? It literally picked up grey dust marks just from grazing the floor for a second! Did any of you take it to the dry cleaner before the big day? Was it worth it?

Any tips welcome, I’m totally lost! 😅
