STATIC PROTOCOLS ARE INEFFECTIVE
A home brew mash up of CoC and Delta Green set (?) in 1950's NYC.
The year is [REDACTED] and the ‘Summer’ of Delta Green has long past. Team STATIC MAP faces threats both mundane and unnatural in the 4th and final episode of of Snow Dice Side Quests take on an Impossible Landscapes prequel.
The King awaits.
Chilling at a local ren faire market handing out yellow signs.
Just wondering since it's a seasonal product if there's a store in the Ottawa/Gatineau area that has okra this week? Please & thanks!
The stage is set, the lights go dark and the show is about to conclude.
Episode Three of Snow Dice Side Quests take on an Impossible Landscapes prequel that fits between CoC and Delta Green.
Man where does the time go... it felt like 1958 just a moment ago. Team STATIC has fallen off the MAP and find themselves in an abandoned (?) theater in a far colder clime.

Snow Dice is a Canadian TTRPG, the main channel of which you can find here that covers our ongoing Welcome to Ravenloft campaign. After the decent feedback from our actual play report, we've bud off a 2nd channel, Snow Dice Side Quests for games I'm running, giving Jordan a chance to play a bit.
1st episode of A Map Made of STATIC is up for your enjoyment. Our home brew 1950's prequel to Delta Green's Impossible Landscapes.
In 1958 two NBC studios staff working at the Macy's parade warehouse disappear with evidence suggesting an Carcosa connection. Last thing anyone wants is a Yellow King float broadcast on national television on Thanksgiving...
Since this was a one-shot I though neither CoC's Luck mechanic not DG's Bonds mechanic would suit, so a hack I did was establishing a 'Team Luck Pool' the Players could draw from. Twist is I didn't tell them what the total was, just the costs.
Mix yourself an Old Fashioned, light up a cigar and enjoy.

I've been making a list of variations of the Yellow Sign to toss at my players. (The implication being that each 2d representation is just a single view of a multidimensional object, rotating thought time.)
I've come up with this so far. The nicknames I've given a few are in no way offical, lol. Are there any not used in this list that you've gravitated towards?

This looks cheesy AF - and I'm pretty sure the voices are mostly if not all AI.
But it might be good fuel for anyone working on any Majestic-12 related. Tying the Trinity and German V-2 rockets to and increase in UFO sightings.
