So I was going through some old India's Got Latent videos and came across thumbnails from both S1 and S2 (okay, the S2 one was actually a clip uploaded by a random YouTube channel, and I also checked a bunch of similar videos, all the S1 logos are the same).That's when I noticed something I had completely missed before, the S2 logo has a handcuff on the hand. I'm assuming Samay added that as a subtle nod to all the court cases and legal drama surrounding the show. Am I late to noticing this, or did anyone else completely miss it too?

A Decade of Loyalty to Airtel Ended Like This. What a Joke.

I requested a broadband connection shift on **13th June**. Today is **19th June**, and not a single person from Airtel has successfully completed the job. After multiple follow-ups, false promises, and complete incompetence, I've finally disconnected the service.

Let's start with the first problem: **the Airtel Thanks app.**

The "Shift Connection" option simply doesn't work. It throws errors every single time. So much for being a digital-first company.

Next comes Airtel's masterpiece: their **IVR system.**

This has to be the worst customer support experience I've ever seen. When Airtel calls you back, they immediately put YOU on hold. Let that sink in.

**Airtel calls me. I answer instantly. Then I get put on hold for 15-20 minutes waiting for an executive to become available.**

What kind of clown show is this? You called me. Why am I waiting for you?

Eventually, after fighting through the IVR maze, two technicians visited my residence on 13th June. They informed me there were no spare fiber ports available in my building or nearby. Their solution? Upgrade me to **Airtel AirFiber.**

Fine. I agreed.

Then... nothing.

No installation. No calls. No updates.

After waiting for two days, I followed up myself and discovered something unbelievable:

**The technician had marked my shifting request as cancelled because apparently I was "not interested."**

Excuse me?

At no point did I say I wasn't interested. The only thing I asked was for someone to hurry up and do their job.

Customer support then apologized and requested "one last chance" and promised a technician visit within 24 hours.

That was followed by another "last chance."

And another.

And another "24 hours."

Today is 19th June. After countless follow-ups initiated entirely by me, Airtel still hasn't called, confirmed, scheduled, or installed anything.

Not a single proactive update.

For a company that spends crores advertising superior customer experience, the actual experience is:

* Broken app
* Horrendous IVR
* Technicians cancelling requests without customer consent
* Zero ownership
* Endless fake 24-hour promises
* Customers doing all the chasing

I've been an Airtel customer for nearly **10 years**.

Apparently loyalty means absolutely nothing.

Today I disconnected Airtel Broadband and my next step is porting my Airtel mobile number to another telecom provider as well.

If this is how Airtel treats decade-long customers, I can only imagine what new customers go through.

Good riddance.

**Has anyone else experienced this level of incompetence from Airtel recently, or am I just lucky?**
