ive recently relapsed w self harm and its the worst its been, and it means im bleeding quite a bit afterwards. right now i live in an ensuite bedroom with flatmates i dont really speak to/know, but next month ill be moving to a 1 bath flat with two of my close friends. one of them knows about my sh and the other doesnt (idgaf if they find out tho)
my main problem is i tend to shower afterwards to wash the blood off and stop the bleeding, with my current set up this is quite easy cause i can just go straight to the bathroom without running into anyone, however in this new flat ill need to walk down a hallway and into the main area and im not sure what to do.
i obviously dont want my friends seeing my arms covered in blood cause thats so fucking cruel and i cant have them seeing that but i really cant stop self-harming at this point in time.
does anyone have any advice on the best way to hide this and ensure its not something they need to worry about? id hate for this to put a rift in our friendship or make it tense to live with them but i really dont know what to do.
any similar stories are also very appreciated, would love to know if im not alone in a situation like this 🫶🫶
