Job security

I often hear that ibm does a lot layoffs and is pretty notorious for the volatility of their job security, but I wanna hear some actual experiences from real people that have worked there.

I’m curious since I’ve recently received an associate offer and am heavily considering it but this would be a huge factor for me of course. I would plan on working here for 2-3 years prolly, so also want to know if that is something I’d be likely to face in that span

Offer Comparison

Hey I’m trying to decide which offer to take out of 2 that have similar comp.

The first offer is at IBM as an associate data engineer that requires me to move cities.

The other is at a mid sized company as an application developer that is in the city I am currently at.

I believe IBM would give more future opportunities but would offer less job security, however the other one would be a lot more secure and give me the opportunity to move easier within the company.

Associate Data Engineer Offer

I recently received an associate data engineer offer in Dallas, but just want to know if it would be worth taking compared to an application developer role with same comp at a mid sized company.

I’ve been seeing a lot of things bout ibm job security being really volatile so that’s a huge factor to me but if I planned to stay for only 2-3 years max would that be something I’m still facing?

Thanks for yalls helps

Visa Timeline?

How have yalls experience with Visa been? I had my final interview about a month ago and am wondering how long do they usually take to get back with decisions. And also has anyone received any offers recently, specifically for the Austin new college grad software engineering role.

Insights on Interview Process for NCG - Software Engineer

I recently got invited to take an assessment and hopefully I am able to move on to a live interview. I wanted to know if anyone knows how the actual interviews are and what I can expect?

How long did it take for you to hear back from Visa?

I had my final interview for the Visa Swe new college grad role a little over 2 weeks ago. How long do they generally take to get back with a decision?
