Needing advice

I'm looking to buy a lens to cover the gap between my 16-80 f2.8/4 and my 200-500 f5.6. I'm no pro and most of my photos will end up either here or in instagram. Maybe I'd print a couple, but not in an extremely big size. I shoot with a D500.

I was thinking about the Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f4/5.6 and the 70-200 f4. What do you think would be the best and why?

Any advice for beginners?

Just bought an OM1-MD. I haven't used a film camera since i was a teenager in the 90's, and they were the cheap ones you would just point and shoot. Any advice in how to start, what kind of film, etc?

I have some photography notions. I currently shoot with a Nikon D500, but this is quite different and to be honest i feel a little intimidated lol.

Got it with these two lenses. An OM Zuiko 50mm f1.8 and a Tokina 50-250 f4/5.6

Que ironia que una cuenta de RRHH nos diga que debemos tener cuidado de a quien le contamos cosas 😅

Needing advice

Just starting with this. Found a lion ant. Got to pin it with wings spread, but I don't really know how to do that and at the same time get the lega to not be all crunched against the body. Sorry if it's a dumb question

Subject, Setup and Result

Trying to learn how to get good at macro photography. Pretty happy with the results, still a LOT to learn. Thinking about investing in a macro rail to be able to make better stacks. This one is about 10 photos

Just found out male and female flies look different 🤯

I bought my first macro lens yesterday and started messing around the house and yard. I snapped photos of two flies and noticed they looked slightly different. Turns out male and female flies have totally different eye setups.

Males have their eyes almost touching (just a tiny gap between them) because they need a crazy wide field of view to spot and chase females mid-air. Females have them way more spaced out, which helps them gauge distances better for laying eggs and finding food. Mind blown.

First Macro Experience

I've just got my first macro lens yesterday. Tried a few photos in my house and yard. Please tell me what you think. I've got absolutely zero experience doing macro
