[English > Japanese] Just curious what my OC's name would be in Japanese/which translation is more accurate!
I know y'all get A LOT of "what's my name in xyz" - I'm Sorry I'm contributing. I try to use translator/name in Japanese websites. But like to double check with the experts (all of you!)
Anyways the name is Tikaani (tih-KAH-nee)
Origins (if it matters): Inuit and Ahtna Athabascan languages translating to "Wolf" (I am NOT looking for the translation of wolf, nor what Kanji would mean wolf)

What some websites have given me:
チカアニ -- Chikaani
チカーニ -- Chikaani
ティカーニ -- Tikani
Most these seem to translate back to Tikaani or Chikaani and unsure the exact difference between the first two besides what Katakana is used. I'm also unsure which is more accurate/correct (or if none are). This is just for fun/out of curiosity - Thank you in advance!

So, I have been growing my Agender Specific Terms post for quite awhile now and added some that I am now questioning. I'd love feedback from the community as that post is specifically for this community. These are the terms I'm questioning on if they should stay or be removed:
My question for all of you is: Should these terms stay on the Agender specific terms list or be removed?
Afeminine - An identity characterized as being completely agender/genderless while exhibiting a feminine gender expression (i.e. having a feminine name, or presenting as slightly or primarily feminine). (Added this bc I felt it fit the post, isn't well known + for any agender individual who felt "Agirl/Gxrl/Agender Woman" didn't feel quite right.)
Amasculine - An identity characterized as being completely agender/genderless while exhibiting masculine gender expression (i.e. having a masculine name, or presenting as slightly or primarily masculine). (Added this bc I felt it fit the post, isn't well known + for any agender individual who felt "Aboy/Bxy/Agender Man" didn't feel quite right.)
Allogender - An umbrella term for individuals who are not agender, nor part of the agender spectrum. It is not a gender. (Added this bc it sounded like it was made specifically for Agender individuals to use for anyone that isn't Agender/Genderless/on the Agender Spectrum. My guess is anyone who is Cis, Trans, Non-binary is allogender - least that's what this term implies since it doesn't say "for individuals who aren't Agender nor Non-binary". So I thought it was made specifically for Agender individuals to use, I couldn't find much info on this term. This is the one I am second guessing the most!)
This is a term I just came across and was thinking of adding to that list, but what do y'all think??
"TransAgender refers to an individual who transcends/tranverses the gender spectrum while experiencing no gender; Someone who is trans and agender."

So I was putting away my winter stuff and just realised the entire winter I was wearing a subtle Agender vest lol
I didn't even realise my zipper pull was black, I thought it was just a Grey, Green with white lettering vest. Only noticed it had a black zipper pull when I put it on the hanger! Not really sure if you wanna call it a "Subtle Agender Vest", but it made me smile when I noticed the colours were the same as the flag!

So, I have been trying to bring the term "Agenphobia" that I coined awhile back on this subreddit to light to the Agender Community and make it a real term.
I made an account on the LGBTQIA Wiki, went to their Queermisia page (it list every kind of discrimination against the community) and took a risk. I edited the section that has gender discrimination terms, and added Agenphobia to it. I had to wait for moderation approval... AND IT GOT ACCEPTED!!
Agenphobia is officially on that page as a term now 😄
