[overseas dual time deepstream] Still one of my favourite Vacherons

[overseas dual time deepstream] Still one of my favourite Vacherons

I’ve been wearing my Vacheron Constantin Overseas “Deep Stream” quite a bit lately, and I’m honestly surprised by how good it looks in person.
The combination of the grey dial and titanium bezel gives it a much more understated, sporty character than most Overseas models. It somehow feels both very refined and very easy to wear.
I also love that it’s not a watch you see every day.
Curious to hear what you guys think of the Deep Stream — still underrated, or has it finally started getting the attention it deserves?

[Vacheron Constantin] Is this the forgotten Overseas?

I’ve always thought some watches quietly disappear between generations.
Not because they weren’t good, but because they arrived before the market was ready to appreciate what they were trying to do.
This Overseas Dual Time “Deepstream” is one of those watches for me.
Titanium bezel, integrated bracelet, monochromatic anthracite dial, incredible finishing, anti-magnetic automatic movement, and a dial that seems to change color every time the light changes.
Sometimes it’s graphite.
Sometimes slate grey.
Sometimes it picks up blue tones.
Sometimes it almost looks silver.
The more I wear it, the more I think this reference was experimenting with ideas that later became central to the modern Overseas collection.
Maybe I’m completely wrong.
Or maybe this is one of those references we’ll all look back on differently in ten years.
Curious to hear what the VC enthusiasts here think.
