My fiance just got me two new cultivars and I'm so excited! Still need to research if their care is any different but I think I'm officially addicted to VFTs and gotta make my own bog now!

This MONSTER just won't stop growing! I think I need to prune it down to get it to fill out more and be more bushy and less leggy, correct?

My biggest concern is I'm about to move to a different state and I'm afraid it's going to get hurt in the travels and it might be helpful to trim it. Or, maybe trimming will be too hard on it right before a move?

Should I even THINK about trimming it or just accept this monster for what it is?

It's a monster but I love it...

First photo is after I transplanted it into carnivorous soil.

I had a grow light on it, bottom watered it and gave it some carnivorous plant food drops and in a few months I had this beautiful plant!

It grew a flower stalk before the first photo, but it didn't make it. I wish I had the grow light during that time, would've loved to see it flower.

It catches it's own bugs and there's a bug body left over in the traps. I guess this is normal, but how do you tell if it was actually digested vs couldn't make a seal?
