Why were the N64 games so good?

I’ve been seeing a lot of Nintendo 64 eve/wwe game mods online recently, and watching them, I couldn’t help but notice that, despite the ropey graphics (by 2026 standards), the moves all look great. I don’t know how to explain it, but they look so much more impactful than any of the new games, and that’s even with the newer games having all of the modern gaming advancements, like collision detection, game engines, etc.

Even the older Smackdown games look better than today’s games, though still not as good as N64

Can someone with a better understanding of game mechanics, or a better vocabulary than me, explain why the moves in No Mercy, etc, look so good?

Apple Wallet profile issue

My EX90 was delivered last week. My wife took delivery, and so she was set up as ‘owner’. She shared the ‘card’ from her Apple wallet with me, but now when I use my phone to get in the car, it logs in as her, sets the seat to her profile, etc.

Is there a way to change this so the key on my phone is linked to my profile, rather than hers?

Best dashcam

My EX90 is due for delivery next week, and I’m having some remorse over not adding in the dashcam. Does anyone have any recommendations for an after-market one that can integrate well into the car without too many wires showing, etc?

Best portrayal of the devil/Satan in cinema?

I was watching The Devils Advocate recently, and Al Pacino’s performance as Milton/Satan is absolutely incredible. I don’t know if it’s because he’s also playing a lawyer, and the reputation that lawyers have, but there is something slimy and almost reptilian about him.

It got me thinking, Satan must be an incredibly difficult role to develop and play, especially in a serious role, without overdoing it and it coming across as cheesy.

What other films/actors stand out for their portrayal’s of Satan?

Hygiene/etiquette logic

I’ve just got back from Germany, and found that the spas/Sauna’s there are nude/towels only. Being British, I found this to be a little bit of a culture shock, but no big deal.

However it did get me thinking, how is it more hygienic to sit in a hot tub naked, with your junk touching plastic, than to have a pair of shorts/a bikini on? The sweat is still there, along with anything else that might be transferred from the body to the water.
