Interested to know where you stand if your camp site is robbed - what type of insurance covers this?

I recently purchase Yamaha XVS1300 2008. The brake lever is further away from the throttle than I am used to (last bike was Honda Shadow) - is there adjustment I can make to reduce the distance from the throttle? Do I need a mechanic to do this work?

I purchased a XVS1300A from a well known dealer in Brisbane back on the 15th June.

I paid the dealer additional to have the bike transported down to Grafton as I had driven up (in car).

The bike has been picked up from Ipswich road by the transport company in the week commencing 22nd June, and was due to be delivered today (Sunday 5th July) and on Friday pm I am advised that there will be another 10-14 day delay! Not happy about it being shunted another fortnight - what are my options here? Return the bike to moorooka and make other arrangements myself? Cancel to whole deal? Arrange for the bike to be picked up from where it is housed in the Maroochydore area?

At 70, I know that I can do it now, but I want another 5 years before I need to downsize. I am looking for your knowledge and best recommendations for a 'turntable' options so that I can ride in and turn easily to ride out the next day - Please all suggestions?
