🫧 Maybelline lifter liner in Cross the Line: This was my first time trying this particular shade, and it is such a gorgeous rich brown. The texture is extremely creamy while applying, so it glides on without tugging, but once it sets, it barely budges. It easily lasts around 4–5 hours on me, and even longer if you’re not eating full meals in between. The pigmentation is amazing too, so you don’t have to keep layering it. Honestly, this shade reminds me a lot of the Huda Beauty lip liner in Rich Brown, both in terms of the shade and overall performance. The longevity, smoothness, and how cleanly it defines the lips are genuinely at par with much more expensive lip liners.
🫧 Maybelline lifter gloss in Maple and Toast: I absolutely love, love, love the glosses from the Honey'd range. Toast is such a beautiful cool-toned brown gloss that gives the lips that effortless glossy look without looking too grey or too warm. The formula feels very moisturizing and plush on the lips, though I will say it does have a slightly sticky texture. Personally, I don’t mind it. The color itself is sheer, but it still shows up beautifully on the lips and gives a soft brown tint along with the shine. On two-toned lips though, I do think it would appear much sheerer and may work more as a topper rather than giving full color payoff on its own.
I haven’t tried the shade Maple yet, but from the packaging it looks like a warmer brown compared to Toast, almost the kind of caramel warm brown vibe that the Peripera gloss in Made It has.
