TLDR: he’s modifying helmets and it kind of makes sense. He states that helmets should focus more on deceleration than skull deformation/puncture. He doesn’t mention the Virginia Tech helmet tests.

I’m thinking about getting the original gen I Nines since they’re being sold for around $800 US. The Gen II Fives(which would work for my room) are $1400. I don’t really need Atmos, but I wonder if I’m giving up too much with the cheaper gen I Nines or if I should spend the extra for the gen II Fives. Thanks!
