Need a bit of advise please. Do anyone know of this Betacam tape would work on a Betamax? I have heard the some Betacam tapes can work, but definitely not SP. Do anyone know? I have added a picture of the ones I have, I also have a few SP. Thanks
I’ve saved/invested my children’s child benefits, gift money plus some from me since birth. Currently my oldest has £5k in a Nationwide 5% account, £2k in premium bonds, £27k in Vanguard main VUAG, about £4K Invest Engine and about a few hundred in Fidelity. Also have quiet a lot of silver coins, at least 100, bought when they were around £18-£25 each (as you don’t pay capital gains on Britannia coins). My question, is there anything else I should think about investing in? And once my oldest is 18 in about 5 years, is there anything I can do to stop them wasting the money/cashing out the investments, like a trust or something?

Here in London the heat is unbearable because of the buildings and pollution in the air, I know it’s hot in Europe right now, but what does it feel like in Brussels right now and are there places to escape the heat, plenty of shade, maybe places to swim. If every day of my pre-teens to late teens had a theme song, these albums would be some of them. The 90s had a hip hop album or song for every emotion I felt, from Mobb Deep, Fresh Prince to Lil Kim 😏. I’m trying to get to 10,000 albums without my wife complaining 🤦🏿♂️😅. I stream too but I feel ownership is important , especially as these corporations take advantage of its customers and try to make sure we don’t do anything without a subscription behind it and they control the content.
There’s very limited information on this system. I have had some help from someone in another group, I now know that it’s a JVC Stylistic 2001 FS from 1983/84, but that’s it. It’s been in my dusty garage for about 10 years, so I want to sell it to someone that will should it some love and refurbish it, rather than letting it waste away in my garage. But I wanted to know more about it first.
