RIP all the people who want a SIMULATION MMA game, this is a new terrible direction for a sports game.
They have officially dropped the realism concept. This is no longer anywhere near a simulation game, this is more similar to Mortal Kombat. Insane.
This new way of rating absolutely screws over offline players, career mode enjoyers, and players who like sim/realism. We are going to have fighters like Tai Tuivasa, Derrick Lewis, Cody Garbrandt, Jamahal Hill, Brian Ortega, Beneil Dariush, all be in there primes despite nearly all of them having like 1 win the last 3 years for each fighter.
And what does this mean for fighters like Khamzat? They rate his stamina high in the game, but he has now officially been exposed for having like 6 minutes of actual dominant wrestling. Since it was previously high in his last appearance and his last player model will he still be having cardio in the mid 90s despite us now knowing it should've never been that high to begin with?
I highly doubt EA is bringing back the old CAF system, and I completely can't see them allowing us to adjust our own ratings for an offline roster(similar to Madden) so where does this lead everyone who doesn't main online play?
