LAE 2027 (2nd attempt)

hello! I didn’t make it to this year’s LAE. However, I passed all other entrance exams in other law schools (UMak, San Beda Alabang, Arellano).

I initially planned to go into any law school this year but there’s just something about UP that draws me to it, baka kasi siguro two of my cousins I look up to are UP alumni or some other reason, kaya I’ve decided to give it one more shot with enough prep (I juggled my LAE prep with my OJT, the latter ended 1 week prior to the LAE). fingers crossed that I didn’t make the wrong decision haha!

For those who made it after multiple attempts. How many attempts did you take? What finally took in your approach that you think made you pass? I’d deeply appreciate your tips. Thank you!

UP LAE 2027 2nd take

Hello everyone! Incoming Law Student here. I qualified for UMak's interviews. Are there UMak passers here who might be able to share tips?

I'm a BSBA graduate, we had oblicon and taxation, both of which I didn't excel much but didn't fail naman. My undergrad performance was below average or average at best because I was doing a lot of side hustles pero hindi regular job haha. I also dropped out of college last 2019 (not failed, I just quit after the first sem) but returned on AY 2021-2022 at a diff univ. Overall, not exactly a stellar academic background. Will this have any bearing?

My dream of being a lawyer is like a love I once lost but it came back even stronger. For once, my motivation is no longer mine alone, cheesy man pero I'm here because I want to make a difference.
