Hello everyone, I’m looking into applying for an Apprenticeship with Royal Mail in Vehicle Maintenance.

I want to do it as I NEED something new as the thought of continuing my current job any further makes me physically sick. However, I’m slightly worried as to what I’m stepping into as ofc I’m not entirely sure what it’ll be like (since the grass is always greener) and that I’ll be getting paid considerably less as I start learning so I have to be realistic.

What does the job entail? Positives/Negatives? Is there any rates/quotas? (This is the most important thing for me).
Any advice about pursuing this as a career?
