It feels like there's a uniquely gifted cadre of NHL defensemen today in terms of skating ability. Could be recency bias, but the current group of dmen *overall* feel as good in that area as I can recall in 40+ years of watching the NHL. I'm not talking solely of straight-line speed, but speed, agility, edgework, quickness...the whole package.

Not a Hawks fan, but I’ve always loved this logo. I *feel* like it’s underrated, as in I don’t recall really seeing it in many “best logos” lists, etc.
