Hi everybody, wanted to share an experience I had in the application process at Google and see if anyone had feedback/insight. I applied to two account strategist roles last week, and was rejected from one of them earlier this week. The next day, I received an invite to complete the account strategist assessment for the role, and thought I’d finally made some progress in the process (I passed the Google general assessment last year for a role I was turned down from). Not a full day had passed however before I got rejected from the other strategist role, before even having the chance to complete the assessment. Naturally this was very frustrating/disappointing. I completed the assessment anyway last night and now awaiting results.

Has something like this happened to anyone else here? I’m stuck between feeling optimistic for future opportunities based on receiving an assessment but pessimistic as I’ve never been offered to interview and have only received auto-rejects to date.
