From the wear and little I know, this was a working musician’s guitar. Trying to identify whose. Has an embossed leather pickguard with the Rocking R brand. There’s a bar in Bozeman, Montana by that name, been in operation since 1947. Guitar was built circa 1951 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Present owner of the bar is four removed, although they’re asking past owners for any recollections or better still, archive photos.

Any help appreciated. Great guitar. Plenty of soul.
